LONG DISTANCE relationships are tough, but this engaged couple has found a way to make the distance between them feel a little smaller.
Li Seok and Danbi Shin are both artists hailing from South Korea. Danbi is currently working in New York, while Seok lives in Seoul.
A few months ago, they started a photography project called Half & Half as a way to share their daily lives together.
The photographs are taken simultaneously, despite the time difference, and reflect how similar their lives are, despite being miles apart.
Speaking to Buzzfeed, Danbi said that the project keeps them bonded together while she’s away:
I just wanted to embrace the romantic and normal moments as an ordinary couple, imagining eating cereal and watching taxis go by together.
Their project has gone viral across the world – Danbi says that they’ve received messages from other couples in long distance relationships who were touched by the project’s message.
